The AGM was held this evening at Penryn Athletic Football Club. Following the formal business proceedings, David Lansdowne, who has done a wonderful job over the past two years, formally handed over the President’s regalia – including the Choir mascot, of course – to our newly elected President, Dave Foster.

The role of Chairman was then assumed by David Lansdowne, who will be supported by our previous Chairman, Paul Trenerry, now serving as Vice Chairman.

Huge thanks were extended to Kevin Hosking for his outstanding contribution as Concert Secretary over many years, not least for his exceptional planning of the Choir’s 75th anniversary celebrations last year, which saw concerts held across the Duchy. Great job Kevin.
Choir member Dennis Moses was also rightly highlighted for his unfailing contribution to the Choir in so many ways – in particular, the management of all the equipment, ensuring it arrives at the right place, at the right time, is accurately set out, and then safely stored again after each event – many thanks Dennis.
Here is Kevin, who also received his long service award for 10 years’ service to the Choir.

All change and long service

Long service certificates were awarded to Darryl Reburn for 10 years’ service, also Stephen Willoughby and Paul Yokney for 15 years’ service each.
