If you love to sing but don’t feel comfortable at the thought of performing in public, don’t worry – there’s plenty of time and space until you find your voice and develop the confidence to take your rightful place in the spotlight.
Many men we speak to say ‘oh I can’t sing’ But if you manage ‘happy birthday’ or a national anthem then you may be surprised.
Come along and listen at a practice Join in when you feel comfortable And take it from there
Our Musical Director will listen, help and guide you through the process. You’ll sit next to an experienced choir member who will also help you along.

Here we are, at practice, learning the sea shanty ‘Keep Haulin’.
Each of the four sections, bass, baritone, second tenors and top tenors listen to and then sing their individual part ,played by our accompanist, Michael Uren.
Once our Musical Director, Elaine Tangye is happy then she moves on and then we sing the piece together.
Every choir member has an individual copy of the music and words.
The MD changes the repertoire of songs as we go through the year especially for Remembrance and then Christmas.
