Be part of a supportive community

It’s extraordinary how quickly a choir becomes an extended family. There are plenty of examples of how supportive other choir members can be at difficult times: bereavement, relationship break-ups, bad health, job losses…

Our choir members and their families come from all walks of life and places.

A strong core of Cornish folk but others from many parts of the Country.

This special bond and teamwork is formed and individuals choose how much or how little they wish to join in.

Our welfare and sickness visitor is always on hand to check, chat and communicate the team’s concern and many offers of help.

There is also a strong family involvement and the choir relies on and is grateful for all the help from, wives, partners, friends and supporters who organise many events and fundraising activities.

We also have an active social calendar including:

  • Bingo – the last Friday of the month
  • Skittles – usually a Friday in March and October
  • Coffee mornings – a couple of Saturday mornings every year
  • Our Annual Fete at the end of July in Falmouth
  • Breakfast Club – second Thursday, of most months in Constantine
  • …and an annual boat trip to St Mawes in June for a beer, a pasty and a sing song.

Please see events for details.

These are organised by our supporters, wives, partners and followers.

So there is something for everyone.
