Sing for Pleasure

The sound of laughter is second only to the singing at our choir sessions. It might take a little effort to learn the words and get your part right, but above all, we’re here to have a great time.

We work hard to learn the words and music.

The four voice sections have their own music parts and then we watch, listen and follow the MD as she conducts and guides us through .

There are three or four varieties of singing occasions

  • At practice – where we learn new pieces, go over old favourites and get ready for the next performance.
  • At a concert – some are big, some small, often with other choirs or guest artists. We wear full uniform or our casual kit, whatever is appropriate.
  • …and afterwards – it’s called ‘afterglow’ when we relax and join in a singalong, singing well known songs.

IT’S ALL ABOUT AND ALWAYS – SINGING FOR PLEASURE

By the way, members can access our website, and practice their own parts for practice and performance.
